Thrilling Test Drive for OMODA & JAECOO with 10+ Challenging Tests

OMODA and JAECOO organized their inaugural worldwide media test drive at their Wuhu headquarters in China on April 22. More than 100 media outlets from over 30 countries and regions worldwide tried out the OMODA 5 and JAECOO 7 models, the first offerings from the JAECOO brand. During the event, participants were able to experience over 10 challenging simulation programs across three distinct experience zones.

The test drive location spanned more than 40,000 square meters and was separated into three significant areas for testing. These zones comprised a full-track experience area, a straight-line acceleration area, and an off-road experience zone. There were two extensive track experience regions located in the centre of the site that featured various road simulation programs, including U-turning, S-winding pile, splayed winding pile, and speed bumps.

Nearby to the full track experience areas, an additional zone was created for the straight-line acceleration experience. This section offered participants the opportunity to fully experience the force of acceleration under powerful conditions. Furthermore, an off-road experience area was specifically designated for the JAECOO 7 model. Individuals had the chance to experience the robust AWD capabilities of the JAECOO 7 model by participating in off-road programs, including cross-axis, hump, side slope, and double-axle escape.

Over ten projects were showcased in the three designated test-drive zones featuring two primary designs from OMODA and JAECOO brands with varying styles. This allowed everyone to experience the allure of high-calibre and top-notch products. Additionally, the OMODA brand unveiled its first-ever pure electric product, which was presented as a static exhibit at the test site, and captured everyone's admiration.

During the test drive of the well-known OMODA 5, the sturdy frame and powerful engine left a lasting impression on the driving experience. The car's MacPherson front suspension and multilink suspension system minimize not only excessive vibrations but also offer robust support when manoeuvring through rough terrain or sharp turns. Additionally, the 1.6T GDI engine delivers ample power, allowing the vehicle to excel in rapid acceleration and other demanding activities. Furthermore, the electronic steering system of the OMODA 5 provides precise steering control, enabling drivers to operate the car at high speeds with ease.

Aside from the OMODA 5 and JAECOO 7 models, the OMODA 5 EV, which is the first-ever pure electric car from the OMODA brand, drew significant interest from global media outlets and dealers who had the chance to appreciate it statically. Based on reports from the media at the event, over ten test-drive programs were conducted, which surpassed the typical daily driving environment in terms of difficulty. These challenging road conditions objectively tested the exceptional quality of O&J products.
