- the wind-stream optimised design has been built in two identical examples at BMW in Munich in co-operation with Harald Ertl,German champion who set up in 1980 the world record for a car run with natural gas instead of fuel.
- One car was changed to run with gas by BP, running at 301 km/h, though modified later by BP and rebuilt to its original technology not to show further patent relevant features. This specific car, after years of having been lost, was sold with incomplete engine, accidented, screen crashed and lousy condition, at Coy's in April 2019.
- The other car, this one offered, was not modified and kept by Harald Ertl privately. His family, by descent, sold it to a German collector, from where this car has been bought.
- The design anticipates the BMW i8 cut-in air channels to secure stable driving at 300km/h, over 30 years ahead of today's car design.
- Original around 6000 km run, concours condition.
- Interiors ordered by Harald Erti from the manufacturer who supplied Lamborghini.
